Sons of the Flaming Throne 3 – Ch. 17 | KT OLLA

THE sun rays poured on earth like showers and the darkness of night gave way to another day.

Solomon had slept for the night far later than he usually did, as he went on to study the olden scroll, the parchment of God’s prophecies – he went on to study the piece after the talk with David.

Yet this day many noble officials were pouring into the king’s court already.

Their numbers were bustling and quite larger than the sum that appeared before the king on a regular day.

But the new king wasn’t aware of this influx, no... as he was still on a power nap which only set out late.

Now everyone who held an office and owned a title gathered from all over at the urgent summon of the king’s father David.

For the old monarch had sent messangers the previous days to invite eminent people for the occasion.

Those people were his nobles and officials within his own administration...

They were the ministers of civil matters and public, governors over tribute colonies, commanders of Israel’s army and of the king’s – with dozens more of the ruler’s trusted hands and minds.

But Solomon had just begun to enjoy his rest when he heard the call at his doors.

And when he got up to attend to the news, the thing sounded too new and beyond normal that he thought he hadn’t woken up...

He only glared and thought he was just sleepwalking.

Standing in front of the young ruler was the chief of the palace eunuchs; so he delivered his message paying obeisance.

‘Your Royal Majesty, your father the king has sent me to call my lord to a large conference he has called, holding now. It is a noble assembly gathered for you my lord.

‘Also, Your Majesty, your father invited the eminent people among  his ministers and officials – everyone who is high in power and and loyal to him during his reign.

‘And if only I’d learned about this much earlier, I would’ve run to you with this news even before the break of day!

‘Because now, Your Majesty, everyone is waiting for you in the open courts—and there is a great crowd of people!’

The king staggered back as those words hit him, the eyes blinkering.

A conference today? Or is it this morning?

Wait a moment—it is this very morning! And everybody is gathered, he said.

No, this cannot be happening. No it can’t be!

The young ruler simply stopped himself and turned about to walk back inside – as it was a hard sleepwalk for him.

Suddenly the voice called from behind him: ‘The assembly is waiting, Your Majesty! What do I take back with me?’

But those simple words, they carried a donkey load of responsibility. For they settled heavily on the shoulders of the young king no sooner than they were hauled.

Immediately the king dragged to a stop, brushed his eyes and turned about. The drowsy man jolted up awake, the retreating one stood facing the day.

Quickly a bowl of water was brought to him and he washed his face. He plunged into a pond of clear waters within his courts and came out washed.

In a moment his servants came and dressed him up for the occasion, then up he went to answer David.

Now when the king appeared at his father’s court, it was the father alone who could tell that his son hadn’t slept.

He’d been in the situation too many times that it mattered less, so he could only watch the boy and say nothing.

Solomon got to King David and the latter spoke nothing about the purpose of the occasion in fact.

He only tapped the man on the shoulder when he leaned forward to show respect.

‘Son, we must go now. We mustn’t keep great men waiting for too long!’

And with that, the royalty moved into the king’s convoy, so the fleet rode down to the large courts behind the palace hall.

It was those plains that David had chosen to speak for him.

Sons of the Flaming Throne 3 – Ch. 30 (FINALE) | KT OLLA

AT Gibeon King Solomon offered a huge sacrifice of a thousand cattle. That great sacrifice stirred up the heart of God, as the soul which offered it pleased Him much. So there in the smoking clouds, God appeared to Solomon—and it was a breathtaking moment to hear Him speak. For He asked a man to make a wish: He asked Solomon to state his need. ‘I have seen your heart and your offering, and I am pleased with you this day. ‘Therefore Son of David, ask of Me anything you please, and I shall give you whatever you say.’ Right there where the mortal man bowed, he knew this was a mighty offer. But his needs weren’t so many to place in a giant offer. He wanted to ask one thing that is mightier than power and riches. He wanted to own one thing that is chief among so many. So He answered, ‘O God of Israel, You have loved David and blessed him in his days. ‘And this grace, You have extended to me his son: You have set me on his throne. ‘Still here I am in the midst of the many people you have mad...

Here’s what God asks us to tell His people in Nigeria | KT OLLA

Dear Readers, here is what God asks us to tell Nigeria, today the 1st of April, 2022 —  THE PROPHECY  — 1. The Lord said the sins and atrocities of Nigeria He can no longer ignore. He said He will now punish all lawlessness, unless we repent and change our ways. 2. He said it is for this sake that He has withdrawn the showers of rain, and made them really sparse. 3. God said unless Nigerians repent and turn from all lawlessness, there is coming a draught so severe that it will spark up very strange fires. 4. Yet so that God’s people will not suffer or be shaken, He asks us to tell you our readers and everyone who cares to listen, that you store and keep storing up water without a stop. He sternly instructed us all to do this. 5. God also commanded us to assure His people of His promise for this time. He said He will preserve the righteous during these trying times that will go on to try even the world. 6. He said several times over that the righteous will inherit t...

🛡️Safety Call! – KT OLLA

Running into a rock? The times are testing everywhere in the world. Outdoor is the heat of violence and crime; indoors are the worst cases of lack or need. Everything seemed like the end is here, when most people are just starting to live. But whether it is the beginning of the end, or nothing like it at all… well, all of us just wants to survive. We mean, really survive. Like running into a rock till the heat of God’s sun passes. For this too shall pass, we know. But then, a question sometimes bothers us – particularly at this time. And it is this one thing that we often ask: “Isn’t there something we can do to escape these harsh realities? Isn’t there something we can do at the very least?” The whole world had stayed home at a time, till we were all tired of hiding. But home stopped proving to be a good shelter those times. In fact, plagues opened locked doors and stole away our dear ones. We had thereafter fled outside, running from those things that plagued our earth. We hid in roc...
